Many have reacted to an alleged interview recently published by a top news outlet over Tonto Dikeh’s outburst on Genevieve Nnaji.

Excerpt from the interview reads;

“If I keep waiting for an Igbo man, I will just end up like Genevieve Nnaji who is eternally single.” Apparently mocking Genevieve’s spinsterhood for being selective of her choice of man to marry.

The above statement, purportedly said by the controversial actress has received hot reaction based on her attack on the queen of Nollywood, Genevieve.

In a reaction to the alleged interview, which has spread widely, Tonto debunked the statement as untrue;

“I have never and will never say anything against Genevieve. I will not even interfere in her personal issues. I did not grant such interview.”

But is it wholly true? Did the news outlet set out to maybe disparage both artistes for reasons best known to them?
