Sunday, October 14, 2012 to be precise, lawyer turned fashion dictator, Toju Foyeh, the 2012 Future Awards best designer of the year, who incidentally is a trained lawyer apart from being a designer declared open her flagship store amidst pomp and fanfare. Not only was the store opened, it was also the launch of the brand’s diffusion line.
The young, beautiful and fantastically talented designer was able to gather many top celebrities to her store opening. Titi Adenuga, the wife of top Nigerian billionaire business mogul, Otunba Mike Adenuga, his daughter Bella Adenuga-Disu, Elite Model Look Nigeria head honcho Elohor Aisien, songstress Tiwa Savage, Mavin’s Wande Coal, handsome hunk Lynxxx, Ace comedian Bright Okpocha aka Basketmouth & his wife, a few other designers like Kunbi Oyelese of April by Kunbi, Mai Atafo of Mai Inspired, Bridget Awosika and many others like Jumai Shaba of JARA, top Nollywood actress Funke Akindele-Oloyede, crooner ChiDyma, media personalities like Azuka Ogujuiba of ThisDay, Editor of Complete Fashion Magazine Franka Asindi, Beat FM’S Gbemi Olateru-Olagbegi, Rhythm FM’s Toke Makinwa and many other notable guests made the event tick.
As usual prayers were said to declare the store open, before the invited guests were shown round the beautiful store, with many buying one or two things. It wasn’t all about fashion on the day, as Tiwa, Wande, Chidyma, Funke Akindele-Oloyede, Bovi & Basketmouth all performed to the delight of all and sundry.
