It was a star studded event last Friday when top Nollywood stars and entertainers stormed the premiere of Rita Dominic’s big-budget movie, “The Meeting.” But two prominent faces in the industry Ini Edo and Monalisa Chinda, were conspicuously missing at the event.

Before now, suspicion has been rife concerning the unimpressive relationship that exists between Rita Dominic and the two actresses.

Only last year, unavoidable cold war ensued between Rita Dominic and Ini Edo, when the former went to twitter to point out an overnight abnormality in a voting system for who to be the best actress for an award. The beef between them survived 2011, and continued till this moment. But Rita has come out to deny that she is not having any misunderstanding with Ini Edo.

According to her, “there was no fight between Ini and myself. In fact, Ini is like a younger sister and colleague to me.” What can we say of Monalisa Chinda? The light complexioned actress was spotted at a recent function where she sat on the high table with Rita Dominic, but they did not talked to each other throughout the duration of the event.

So even as the reasons still remain clear, the budding underpinnings of a subtle fued is ever evident.
