Stella Damasus

Whenever Stella Damasus’s name is being mentioned in any article, a lot of people will want to know what it’s about this time. Quite a large number of people believe that, the name, Stella Damasus is synonymous to controversies. Does she really care anyway?

A few months back, the delectable actress wrote an article ‘I Have Questions’, the article received a million thunderous responses, some are good, bad and ugly.

The Islamic practitioners who gave some constructive critism/analyses that helped the mother of two, Stella, in her quest for the truth about God, Church and People nearly converted her but for her stronghold in Christianity.

Now the gorgeous actress, Stella Damasus, who has since relocated to Abuja to start a new life with her ‘partner’, is out again to say something, the question on the lips of everybody is ‘what does Stella Damasus have to say’?.

Firstly, Stella Damasus, as a stakeholder in Nollywood, has a lot to speak about the failing Nollywood, the incessant deaths and the future of entertainment industry in Nigeria.

Secondly, as a mother, widow, divorcée and ‘single mother’ she has a lot to speak about homes and families, why marriages fail, most especially in Nollywood and why most Nollywood divas end up marrying another woman’s hubby.

Thirdly, Stella Damasus as a Christian, she has a lot of things to speak about the cracks in the house of God, she may probably want to speak about sex and arrogance in the house of God (if she has any experience), cracks in the Christendom etc.

If there is any actress I know whose heart is full of compassion for the less privileged people it’s Stella Damasus, the times I spent with her those days revealed some hidden talents deposited inside her, I wonder why she hasn’t done anything about those things I discovered she possesses. Well, like they say, ‘there is time for everything’; maybe this is the right time for Stella to make the whole world know that she is more than an entertainer. The truth is, Stella Damasus is an embodiment of talents.

“After the article, I decided to put a talk-show together to address some of these issues. But alas, so many factors started rising against it. Unfortunately for them, my determination grew stronger and faster. I have decided to put an event together in conjunction with my partner and the only radical pastor I know who is not afraid to speak the truth.

The event is tagged ENTERTAINMENT AND GOD which will take place on 3rd of March, 2013 in Abuja. If you are an entertainer, stylist, publicist, beautician, photographer, pastor, choir member, media personnel, journalist, presenter or anyone who feels he/she needs to hear what I have to say, then please come and attend this event,” Stella Damasus said.
