Dignitaries, Music Artistes, Comedians, Dancers, Media Houses, Corporate bodies and more converged on Saturday 17th September, 2011 to witness the 5th Niger Delta Advancement Awards 2011 that took place at the Amazing Grace E- Centre, Uyo, Akwa Ibom state. In spite of the heavy rainfall that made the show to start late, nominees and guests waited patiently and it went smoothly. The red carpet saw celebrities and dignitaries attending interview sessions and having photo snaps. Hours later, the event started with national anthem, cultural performance, Jazz piece and the list goes on. It indeed a night of glitz, glamour and groove as guests went gaga over the spectacular performances that made them ask for more. The moment all have been waiting for came and winners began to emerge from each category as nominees were gripped with tension.
