The Juliet Ibrahim Foundation held a Kidney Cancer Awareness Walk in Accra last Thursday (March 14), which was World Kidney Day. World Kidney Day aims to raise awareness of the importance of kidneys to overall health and to reduce the frequency and impact of kidney disease and its associated health problems worldwide. The walk started from Obra Spot, Circle, and ended at Osu, Ako Adjei Park.

The Juliet Ibrahim Foundation was founded by popular actress, Juliet Ibrahim, to reduce the harm caused by kidney cancer and other related diseases by increasing knowledge and awareness, and by supporting research into the causes, prevention and treatment of the disease.
